Passive Fire Retardant and Stop Systems
The issue of fire has been neglected in Turkey until very recently. There has been a demand with the amendments made in the laws and the regulations defined in the insurance system. Passive firestop systems are applications made with firestop products that prevent the spread of fire, smoke and toxic gases in horizontal and vertical penetrations in electrical and mechanical shafts.

Deformations occur at high temperatures in steel-bearing structures, and the load-bearing capacity of the structure decreases rapidly. Time is gained for the people to leave the building and to take the fire under control by slowing down the rate of temperature increase with fire insulation. Steel loses approximately 50% of its bearing capacity at 550⁰C.

Izoser applies paints that prevent the fire temperature from passing to the steel for up to 180 minutes. Structural steel has different displacements, not only with temperature rise, but also with different heating of steel of different sizes. This situation brings the necessity of checking the torsional stresses of the steel as well as the bending stresses. Fire retardant paints are applied in different thicknesses on different steel profiles, ensuring that the temperatures of all elements are approximately equal to each other at any time.
